Unfortunately there is not a zero for rating PODS! Worst company EVER. We ordered a POD for delivery mid-May, and to our surprise, we found a charge for almost $200 on our checking account on April 17th! When I called to ask this charge be removed, I was given a total run-around. They've charged us for services never received! What a crock. Needless to say, I cancelled all future service and next call will be to state Attorney General. Beware of this company.
If there were the ability to give no stars and a negative star review... there would be. This was the worst experience I've ever had in my entire life. Aside from terrible customer service, these people are scam artists. Robbing me stealing from military and law enforcement families. My container from beginning to end should have cost me no more than 300 dollars. To date.. they have continuously charged my account crazy fees. Totalling nearly 1,000 dollars!!!!!! When I called for disputes and refunds.. each time I spoke to a supervisor and each time it was like starting over. Each time I was told there are "no notes on the account". One of the disputes i made the lady actually told me "yeah there's nothing I can do.. I don't know what to tell you". I was promised refunds three separate times over the course of 12 business days and have yet to get my refund. This finally escalated to the point where I called USAA and shut my account down. I filed a fraud complaint with USAA and they are now giving me my money back. It's bad when their own driver stated to me that he had another customer that was falsely charged 5k and has yet to get his money back!!!!!! I'm reporting these scam artists to the installation and hope that we can get them black listed from our military community for good!!!!!
First PODS is costly but well worth the money. We rented a PODS for over 2 years and it sat in the yard all of this time. I thought our belongings were going to be ruined but to my surprise they were in great condition. They were in better condition than the storage unit we rented. Some how a mouse got into the storage and ruined a few items but NOT the POD. It was critter and mold free! I would definitely use PODS again! Thanks PODS!
This complaint goes to the whole of pods, not the local business. This was the worst mistake of our move. We were moving locally so for some of our stuff we rented a uhaul and storage locker for 2 months - total for the 2 was about 500 dollars. The pod drop off, monthly rent, and drop off at the new place total about 1500 dollars between all the fees, miscellaneous charges and whatever else they stacked on the bill. They were not cost effective at all. We could have just hired movers for this price - it is so expensive. If we were going across country it probably would have been in the 2-3000 dollar range. It would be more cost effective to just buy new stuff there then use PODS.
My husband and I, like so many others were affected by the hurricane. We needed to store our property while our garage was being built. PODS Moving&Storage was very helpful in helping us with the timing of delivery and the pick up of the POD..even though we thought that the prices where at bit expensive we thought that it was worth the peace of mind to make a choice and go with PODS Moving &Storage. We would recommend these guys to help, the peace of mind is worth it. Thank you so very much for helping us during this very difficult time in our lives.
