Publix has the quality of high end grocery stores with the price of a Food Lion. There's a pretty great selection of brands, though the Publix brand is a reliable staple if you can't decide.
I love this place, definitely my new grocery store. The atmosphere is great, everyone is very helpful and friendly. The produce section is huge and everything is so fresh. So many new (to me) types of produce. The meat and fish look amazing and the prices are very competative. I have found my new grocery store!
Ask the butcher if you want a different size of meat than you see out, they'll wrap you a new one.
Bakery has solid cake, good frosting.
So glad Publix is finally in Fayetteville. Being from Florida I am all to familiar with Publix. I actually worked for Publix through high school and college. Publix prices are competitive with the likes of Harris Teeter or Fresh Market. Their deli is one of the best serving boars head meat and excellent subs. The meat and seafood are always fresh, but above all else it is their customer service that sets them apart. They are the Chick-Fil-A of the grocery market. I will go across town to shop at Publix, because I know they strive for excellence.
Love this store. Personnel are very knowledgeable and helpful. Have not had one person say"it is on isle 5 and then drop the conversation. Always show you product and help you make choice. So happy it is here!
