Be careful, basic items such as milk and many others are overprice. Look at the prices on every item!!! and you will see. This commissary provide good prices in some other items; however, the savings are charged from overpriced items. For example, there is no reason for the milk to be at almost $4 where Walmart, Sam's, and Food Lion have it at no more than $2.88.
The commissary supposed to be a privilege and an exclusive place for the military community.
I really enjoy shopping at the South Post Commissary. Most of the items I need are very easy to find. The fruits and vegetables are always fresh. The prices are pretty comparable or less when compared to most items found in other stores.

Prices are good. I'd give 5 stars but their organic produce section is ridiculously small and stocked with items that always look like they are a day or hours away from going bad. I really want to shop here more often but its not worth driving on post when I have to make a separate visit to a totally different grocery store for produce. Admittedly, it's been a while since I've been in. I'm going to give it another try this week, I'll update if its improved.
