All new rebuilt shopping center. I hate to see belk go but welcome Publix
The weird art display has been there before I was born. There’s something about this area that when you come here you step into an alternate universe. They got a few shops and whatnot, but since Publix opened up, I’m pretty sure business is booming for the surrounding stores. A lot of accidents happen here outside the parking lot so be careful if you’re around this area. Raeford road is very unforgiving.
This was my trip to the new Publix grocery store on Raeford Road. Beautiful store lots of selection horrid prices. I had heard they had a bulk food section but it was quite disappointing. I was able to find a few ingredients that I had not been able to find elsewhere in Fayetteville. My husband had an unfortunate encounter with a manager type who is simply unfriendly. But I also had a very good encounter with customer service after I mistakenly left $20 in the self check out. The clerk who was running that little area turned it into the customer service and when I call customer service 25 minutes after it happened she let me know that my money was waiting for me.
The store staff and managers were very helpful and kind. This was my first time there and they helped me navigate the store during the Thanksgiving rush. I have been shopping at Harris Teeter for the past 10 years, but in order to actually shop there I've had to wait for sales, use a rewards program card, or get rain checks when the sales items are missing. Due to some of there policy changes and prices, I went down the street to this Publix place. My experience matched their slogan, "Where shopping is a pleasure." I really want to thank the bakery department, deli department, and seafood/meats department.
This is the new Tallywood! New pavement, lights, and an all new Publix to top it all off. They even kept the historic Tallywood tower.
