The Manager asked what we needed to be able to ride out on it today. We did some math and gave him a number. He cut another $300 off the price to get us in the range we were looking for, and I was able to leave on a *very* nice used Vulcan, and had a blast on it just riding home.
Great place!!! Great bikes!! Much respect!!
Great customer service and sales team. I was given a price far below MSRP and they allowed me to keep my bike there until I was able to get it home. Overall great experience!
If your looking for a new or used bike, I highly recommend you make this store your first stop. When they come and talk to you, just be honest and tell them what you need. If they *can* do it, they *will*. If I could give more than 5 stars....I would.
So I didn't buy a Kawi, but I gotta give them a FOUR due to how hard Josh and the other guys worked to try and make it happen. Also, they were all really up on the Kawi sportbikes and the competition.
So we move onto Cyclemax, and the sales associate was extremely knowledgeable on the bikes that had, and very friendly. We found a really nice Kawasaki Vulcan that is still a bit out of our price range. The sales associate talked to the manager and took $400 off the price for us. Now we could afford it, *but* we would have to wait another payday to make sure we were good.
As a regular middle class guy, and a retired military man, I'm happy to recommend this store to others. They didn't play games with us, and didn't try to haggle us to pay more. They were very kind and simple, they asked us what we needed, and they *delivered*.
I was able to demo all the 'naked bike' models from Yamaha, Suzuki, Triumph, and Ducati. But CMax was a non-starter on the Kawis. No sportbike demos allowed. Josh went so far as calling guys he knew that owned the Z900 to see if I could check it out. He really went the extra mile. Never got up with anyone on the Z unfortunately. And CMax's owner was like "No way no how".
Josh and the other guys on the floor are great. The wife and I - both long-time Harley riders, 34 years for me and 16 years for her - have been looking at adding a couple of sport bikes to the stable, just for playing around on, maybe even a track day at VIR. We were thinking a Z900 for me and a Z650 or Ninja 650 for her. Or a Yammie combo FZ-09/FZ-07. Or a GSX S1000/SV650 from Suzuki.
Great guys. They make you feel like family
My wife and I were looking for a used bike. Something nice that we could pay for outright on a limited budget. We started at another Bike shop (who I will not name) which was close by. We got prices on some used bikes and asked the young lady who approached us if there was any wiggle room on the prices. What she told us (long story short) was basically "Not really". To be fair, I'm not sure if that's true, or was just bad information.
