I'm so glad I found this place. I've heard nothing but good things and saw some of Marcus work so decided to give it a try. Everyone is welcoming. The place is nice and clean. Service is fast. Music is nice. It's such a good vibe. These stylist know what they are doing. Terrill saved my dreads. I can't imagine going to anyone else now. Prices are reasonable too. Come here you won't regret it.
Although I like the end result of my hair (crochet box braids), I was very disappointed in the customer service. I went in on Saturday with an appointment at 9:45am because my stylist was running late. I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she let me know beforehand and things do happen. When I get my hair done, I want your undivided attention. I can never seem to find a place that can only work on my head and get me in and out. I had to get up from her chair just for her to work on someone else while I watched and patiently waited. I had texted the owner of the salon saying I wanted him to do my hair but apparently he doesn't do crochet and gave me to someone else. I trusted that he would give me to a person who knew what she was doing. She straightened my hair before corn rolling it. My hair texture is clearly thicker when it's curly but I figured she knew what she was doing. I had to come back 3 days later because my braids were loose. What's even worse is that when she had agreed for me to come in after work for her to fix it, she made it seem like she would get right to me and have me out of there. I shouldn't have to come back at all because it should have been done right the first time. I waited for her to finish THREE PEOPLE before she got me in her chair. Don't tell me to come in at 5pm if you aren't going to see me till 8pm! that is poor customer service and the owner was there the entire time and saw how long I was waiting and didn't even say anything. What's worse is that she didn't even acknowledge that she had me waiting for 3 hours. I thought this was going to my my go to salon from now on because I liked the vibes. She wasn't even the person who touched my cornrolls up. She had another girl do it who was apparently the "braiding queen." Why didn't you have her braid my hair to begin with and then do the crochet yourself? Something to think about! She even asked Marcus to braid my hair and he ignored her. Just like how she ignored my text from earlier that day asking if she had appointments that day because I didn't want to come and wait to be seen. I shouldn't have had to come back at all! Thank you Ivya (sorry if I spelled it wrong) for re-braiding my hair. Sonya is a nice person but I will not be back. You didn't even apologize for the 3 hour wait. You just worked on three people right in front of me and had no consideration for my time. I value my time. You could've told me to come in at 7:30pm if you knew you had appointments! Please do better with other people because you will not see me again.
I have been going here for almost 3 years now and I won't let anyone else in Fayetteville touch my hair. Hair last for a long time and looks extremely professional.
