Additional notes after the company's immediate and most probably rehearsed response. 1) No, the issue here is not the lack of immediacy for appointment availability, that is now a public lie, 2) I certainly hope that by the expression "taping" you don't mean that your company failed to inform me that you were literally recording our conversation. More importantly, I certainly hope you haven't lied to the public about this shady practice for lack of technical capability alone? In a nutshell - oops! And be thankful I don't feel litigious today. Absolutely silly and absurd that you would type that and click 'Submit.' 3) Whatever you deem as "All gift cards..." regarding your undeniably unique expiration policy ONLY applies to your vantage point. Rest assured, IF an expiration date on a bought and paid for gift certificate ever makes any sense at all, a 60 day window is pawn shop and payday loan level of sketchiness and abhorrently unreasonable. The service was bought and paid WITH gratuity paid for UP FRONT and you refused to even discuss a refund. Your explanation of YOUR policy doesn't exonerate the ridiculous and unscrupulous nature of said policy. Your company is on a lonely business island of delusion if you deem this as customer friendly. 4) all of your responses to the customer complaints reassign blame to the pissed off customer. Not sure if you understand the big picture here, but you're socially showing your backside for the world to see. Hint - the customer is always right. Perhaps just consider placing your ego to the side when you show up to work and do your job. Lastly, for now at least, the point of your business is to provide relaxation for your clients. You're not having 100% success at achieving this very simple objective. What you've been is lucky that you've managed to not run everyone off. Do yourself a favor at this point and let this discussion die. You got your money and there's no more business to discuss here. It's my opinion that your spa will never be on my list of place for rest and recuperation. I seriously seriously doubt that I'm alone in this sentiment.
Up front - RUDE, NOT customer friendly and unscrupulous! My girlfriend gave me a gift card from this place for Valentines Day of this year. As it turns out, the gift card has a 60 day expiration date? Like a coupon? In fact, the rude and completely uncooperative lady that explained this gift card expiration date policy to me on the phone literally used the word COUPON as her comparative example to this bought and paid for gift card. Wait, it gets better - she's the manager. Meanwhile, I wasn't available in any way, shape or form to use the gift card within the 60 days. When I asked to speak to the manager, she spoke over me stating "I AM the manager." After her rudely trying to justify stealing my girlfriend's hard earned money, remaining stern in this ridiculously unfriendly policy that absolutely affects the customer experience, I discontinued the conversation with this less than eloquently or even professionally spoken manager and left this comment. This won't be the only review left for this company. In this country, where capitalism is the economic system that we enjoy and has garnered so much in the way of innovation, there's no way this business model indefinitely sneaks under the radar.
My appointment was great. I had serious knots and tension in my back and I left feeling so relaxed and amazing. Everyone was courteous and polite and the setting was very relaxing. I will be returning definitely. I made a last minute appointment I wanted to be seen within an hour and was able to surprisingly. I was even able to book a couples massage. My experience was a 10 out of 10 from booking until I walked out the door.
So I went there today for a massage facial combo, the massage was great. The gentleman was considerate and kind. The facial was ok but I expected extractions and they didn’t do that. I expected that when I paid for the most expensive package that extraction was included. Maybe my misunderstanding? But seems pricey if they aren’t going to do extraction. The other issue was that I arrived 10 min early as requested we start 5 min late after my appointment time and ended 10 min early of my appointment finish time. Effectively taking 15 min off my 2 hour session. All around, was good. The therapist was friendly and professional. The facility was clean and well set up. The massage bed was heated. I’d probably go back and try them again, but for a cheaper package and probably not a facial again.
Great massage and very friendly and professional. I would suggest if you like more firmness to go ahead and get hard pressure.
We paid for a visit to this Spa and I will start the review simple. The initial representative you meet has the social grace and character you expect of the owner. Next person met is the owner and it was a complete turn around from start to finish. Massage was good and that brought the rating up but not by much. When you visit keep an open mind for your massage and hopefully the customer service will have improved.
