Great customer service. Their compact cars don't have cruise control, but they quickly arranged an upgrade for a reasonable price.
.... employee fails to mark in the computer I'd be leaving the state. TWO months later, I receive threatening bill collector letter stating that I owe close to $900 because I traveled out of state without the extended travel plan BECAUSE THE IDIOT EMPLOYEE DIDNT DO HIS JOB. Rudest and most incompetent customer service reps on the phone too. All in all THE worst company to rent from.
I rented from them in April 2017. Thought it was going to be a great experience because I got a free upgrade from compact to a SUV. I was wrong. The Dodge Journey had too many issues for me to list. I ended up having to pay out of pocket at AutoZone to fix the vehicle myself so our trip could continue. I made a complaint to corporate and they sent me a $100 voucher towards my next rental. Fast forward to June 2, 2017. I made my reservation over a week ago using my debit card. I get there tonight at 10pm to pickup my vehicle. Of coarse I'm offered another free upgrade to a new minivan. The lady goes to take my payment which is the same form of payment I used last time mind you and she tells me she cannot accept debit card payments. That their policy changed a few weeks ago. This is the same card I reserved with and the same card I paid with last time. I expected a $250 hold on my $40 rental. This rental was a necessary rental that I had counted on. I had others counting on me for this rental. If I had known they didn't take debit, I would have paid down my credit card early. This is ridiculous. They can have their voucher back. Now I'm forced to rent from Enterprise first thing in the morning for a lot more money and I'm going to be late for an important appointment I had in Charlotte at 9am.
Excellent service at the counter the three times I have rented over the past few months. Once I needed to do a three day extension and they handled it over the phone in literally less than one minute.
