THE LADY SHUT UP..She knew I was right.
Not the Carpet One franchise I grew up knowing in my hometown in PA. This one was a nightmare to deal with. I made over 8 calls made in the span of a month with no returned call or assistance. Husband calls Doug and they finally call back. Maybe they prefer speaking with the man of the house about matters of the house like the olden days. Not impressed. We've been passed back and forth for over 2 months with carpet company with zero luck. What's the point of supporting local business if they don't support back. Will never recommend nor do business with them again. Hoping for a miracle to get what we need replaced under warranty.
I had the worst customer service from this company. This company should not be in business at all. We ordered floors from Carpet One, located at 927 Bragg Blvd, on November 2015. After numerous follow up calls, we were able to get the floors we ordered after several weeks. We realized that the transition woods (or whatever they call the long stick that divides living room floor and kitchen floor) Carpet one gave us were shorter than the measurement we gave them. So, my husband went back to Carpet one and asked for the woods with right measurements (THIS IS IN NOVEMBER). We continued calling them almost every week, and they keep replying with "the woods are not done yet."In December 2015, we were able to get the transition woods we ordered, but they gave us two different colors. So, we returned them back. Of course, we kept calling them for follow-up because we want to get our floor done before my husband deployed. Finally, on January 4th of 2016, my husband had enough of these incompetent employees. He called them and told them if they do not have the wood we ordered by the end of the day, my husband will return all the woods he ordered. So, they called him back and told him that the wood was going to be ready by 3:00 pm. Now, these people did not fail to fail once again. They gave us two totally different color from the one we ordered. So, on February 1, 2016, I went over to Carpet One. I, too, had enough of these employees stupidity. When I got there, this lady was sitting on a chair on my right and just smiled at me. After few minutes, finally, she asked how can she helped me. I told her, "for the fourth time these woods are wrong colors." She told me, "well, it is going to be different because they are real woods and you ordered laminate floors." I told her, " the first transition wood you gave us was correct and we returned the other ones that were wrong so you can get another of the right ones." Then there was a guy who told me, "WHEN THEY GET FLOORS FROM THE MANUFACTURERS, THEY GIVE THEM TRANSITION WOODS; SOMETIMES THESE WOODS ARE NOT ENOUGH, AND IT BECOMES DIFFICULT TO GET THE ACTUAL TRANSITION IF CUSTOMERS REQUESTED, SO IT IS NOT ON US." So, I responded with "SO, YOU ARE SAYING THE CUSTOMERS WILL SUFFER AFTER PAYING A LOT OF MONEY TO YOU GUYS?" He replied with "BASICALLY, THAT IS WHAT'S HAPPENING, SO YES." I responded with "WHAT KIND OF BUSINESS IS THAT?" Then he retracted his comments.
I told her give me a check for the woods.
Then, I told them this is very inconvenient for us that we had to deal with this crap, and were the customers. The mid-age lady told me, "WE NEED TO LOSE THE ATTITUDE. WE ARE TRYING TO HELP YOU." When I heard those words, my boiling point just went up at instant. I told her "I AM A VERY DISGRUNTLED CUSTOMER, SO I CAN HAVE AN ATTIDUTE" I continued telling her "THERE WAS A CONTRACT HERE. I PAY YOU AND YOU GIVE ME THE GOODS I WANT. NOW, I PAID YOU A LOT OF MONEY, AND YOU DID NOT GIVE ME WHAT I WANT!!!!"
