Kids love the jungle gyms and splash pad. The new splash pad is so much fun my daughter can stay for two hours.
Employee's need to do more than just earn a paycheck here.
One of the best parks in town. Two baseball diamonds that are always packed during baseball season. And a new splash pad! The rec center is always being used for various groups. Day to day many people are using the walking track. Fayetteville has an amazing parks and rec system.
Great place for a kid to play, the city needs to do several upgrades/repairs to tje playground.. slides are damaged, landscape bricks are misplaced and just laying stacked in a pile. Nobody monitors the parking lot parking and i can never park im the purple heart parking due to the handicap parking spot space.. people take both spots or a space and a half??!?
This area is due for a renovation. The play systems are ready for retirement. Be very cautious of all play equipment with your little ones. There was a huge hole in one slide. Another slide was not study. There was a piece of plywood sloppily put up as an attempt to keep children away from a dangerous slide. On the positive side, this will hopefully be resolved later since the area is slated to be some sort of water pad area for children to cool off. I imagine the funds allocated for the project would include a complete remodeling of the play areas as well. Till then, this park is dangerous.
We always enjoy coming to this park. I like that there are two playgrounds. One for the smaller children and another for the bigger children. The activity board is still out of order but it is a great place to walk, ride your bike or walk your dog. We enjoy bringing our lunch and playing.
