Glad I found this little gem tucked away. Owner is real knowledgeable and employees hard at work to tend the animals. They have ALL types of pets and pet needs here folks. Not just fish. GO HERE and be impressed by not only selection but service as well. A+!
Animals include but not limited too; turtles, snakes, parrots, hamsters, fish (all types), birds, cats, spiders, chinchillas and more! It's animal kingdom up in there!
Staff was very polite and helpful and seemed happy (which is always a good thing)

PLEASE READ FOR GOOD INFO: GREAT PET PLACE TO TAKE KIDS TO LOOK COOL LAYOUT MUCH BIGGER THAN IT LOOKS AND MUCH NICER THAN YOU WLHLD THINK. THEY HAVE DOGS, TONS OF BIRDS (BIG PARROTS EVEN!) TONS OF SNAKES, IGUANAS, GECKOS AND REALLY ALL REPTILES, TONSSSS OF FISH (EXOTIC TOO), MANY RARE ANIMALS. ALMOST AL TURTLES FOR SHOW NOT FOR SALE. PLEASE MARK MY REVIEW HELPFUL IF IT WAS!
ABSOLUTELY a must see! This pet store is a diamond in the rough. My family and I were sooo surprised to see what an amazing store this was. They have the most gorgeous lil animals. And more than that, the whole atmosphere of the store is enjoyable. It's definitely a must see. And the kids will LOVE IT! They will ask to visit it all the time, mine does
I have been keeping fish for over 20 years & I have watched the smaller family owned fish stores go the way of the dinosaur for the big box stores, that do not have the variety of stock, & do not have the expertise. Took a chance on Aqua-Rama, & was very pleasantly pleased. Rose was great, & we only started out with a concept of what we wanted, she guided us through from there. The fish were healthy, & we were impressed with Rose's knowledge & how she cared for her stock. I live in Durham NC, but I will happily travel the 90 miles to Fayetteville again & again for this kind of breath of fresh air, throwback to the aquarium fish hobby!
So just moved up here and had been looking for a good place for feeder rats for my snake.
Well stopped in and they had a decent selection of just bout any tank/cage pet you can think of. Lots of fish (hence the name), along with snakes, lizards, turtles, geckos, birds, guinea pigs, pet rats and even a few puppies.
The staff is so fun and helpful. Keep up the great work
