Lazy Acres is in a convenient location, fairly priced and landscaped nicely. Each site has a fire ring and concrete pad, which is nice. Full hookups and clean facilities. The 3 rating is for noise due to the airport nearby, as well as weekend racing. The camp hosts were cordial and stated they have tried to work with the owner of the racetrack. With the planes, the good news is no overnight take off or landings. However, there is a 6am flight each weekday morning. Loved the trees and trails. If visiting here again, we would stay.
A little cozy piece of heaven to us. Clean..small so everything is convenient. And such nice people who own it. Just staying the night this time but will be back a nice long restful stay!
This is a very hospitable campground. Someone stayed later past closing time so they could escort us to our site in the dark, which would have been pretty hard for us to find otherwise. They have new concrete patios. We stayed here on our way down to FL for the winter. Will stay again next time!
Needed long term for employment. Waited 2 month's for opening. Moved in and now not being able to continue stay. Long term campers are ambushed at registration time with long list of "rules" that are the usual. Except not all are held to the same definition of the rules. We came in with a "utility" trailer that we transport our motorcycle with. Utility trailers are not allowed, but car dollies, car transports and cargo trailers are allowed. So after being here for a week, we were told we needed to move our utility trailer to their storage area and pay more $$$$ for storage. When asked about the other sites with the other mentioned pull behind units, was told they have room at the sites for their units, but so did we. Owners are very rude, don't wave when you come in, don't answer when you say good morning or hi, seem really miserable. We work 6 days a week and the owners waited until 5 days before the monthly rent was due to inform us that they would not be renewing the monthly stay, with out reason, via an email that looked like an rent reminder. Shows you what kind of people they are, to argue with bad reviews.
Very friendly people running this camp and was helpful on our setup and I love how quite it was, it was only about 1-2 miles off of I-95 and the trail to get to it was very nice and country. Even though it was a dirt road they had a air dryer pulled behind a golf cart to blow all the lose dirt off the trail so it did not get our coach dirty at all!!
