Wow. We've been here with my aunt on and off for about a month now, and I cannot say enough about the care and compassion shown by the nurses, nursing assistants, and physicians. Even the housekeeper yesterday asked us if there was anything we needed or could do to help. They have definitely gone above and beyond with doing their best to keep my aunt's quality of life as good as it can be as she passes from this life. Thank you, staff! My family will be forever grateful.
Seriously, if I could give no stars I would. My husband was brought in a couple months back by EMS and they first off sat him in the waiting room. I got there and they wouldn’t give me any information. About 2 hours later they sat him in the main waiting area. Fast forward 6+ hours and we were still sitting there. We only went there because EMS wouldn’t take him the to VA center. There was a waiting room full of patients, blood all over the floor, people fighting, nurses yelling at you if you asked for something, etc. This is by far the worst hospital I have ever been to in my life. Y’all need to fire your staff and get a new one that actually does care about their patients and doesn’t just think of it as just a job. Never again will I go back to this place. If the VA isn’t open I will make the hour long drive to a different hospital. Y’all should seriously be ashamed of yourselves.
I had short stay surgery today . Staff was awesome from the receptionist to the nurse who pushed me to my car thank you so much especially my amazing doctor Andrea Dickerson . Brandon my or nurse. Anthesia staff . I appreciate you all so
Great labor and delivery department. Childbirth or surgery is painful in general but they do their best to keep their patients happy. Surgery was very organized and they seemed to know what they were doing. Very thorough and they do their best to make sure nothing is left behind. If I knew someone who needed a c section or a place to give birth I'd recommend Cape Fear. The midwives will do their best to try to talk you out of a c section because they only want what is best for you and baby but if you really want a c section they will let you have one. I would've waited longer but I felt like 55 hours in labor was enough for baby so I was ready for him to come.
Very professional staff. Always great service front the staffs. The cancer center is wonderful. Folks at Cape Fear Valley have always made time to listen to my problems and issues. I have never had a bad experience at this main and the Hoke Pavillion facility. Keep up the good work and keep fixing people, you do it well.. See you later today I have another procedure. Thanks, Manfred Williams
