It was okay. Not one of their better ones. Wasn't happy that breakfast was only until 9am. Some don't wake up until 9am.
Great place to stay when you are on the road. Clean, comfortable rooms. The included breakfast was good enough to get you started in the morning.
The staff were great. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I had been traveling with my 2 small children. They could tell I was very tired and just anxious to be traveling alone. I asked if they had milk I could purchase. Which they do not but so I wouldn't have to leave they filled up 2 cups of milk since for me since they do serve hot breakfast in the morning. I've been to many places were you can make your own waffles. But I've never been to a place that had the option to make your own strawberry waffles (you can make your own original waffles as well). They had eggs, sausage, I believe 3 different cereals. Oatmeal. Yogurt. Hard Boiled Eggs. Muffins. I would definitely stay and recommend this location.
We had a quick overnight stop here on our way to Florida. The check in process was lengthy. We arrived around 8pm and there was a good size line of people checking in. The woman at the desk was doing her best but she was overwhelmed with the number of guests coming in and the phone ringing off the hook. The room itself was fine. The a/c was pretty noisy all night long but other than that....the room was clean, just super basic. The kids wanted to go swimming. The hotel has a salt water outdoor pool. Which I was pleased to find.the lighting was poor around the pool area. There were no towels to be found. So again, had to go stand in line to ask for towels. Breakfast was simple. There was a waffle maker, eggs, sausage, bread, English muffins, danishes, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. Juice and coffee. Again, very basic but got the job done. Would have checked out but there was nobody at the desk. Also, there is no RV parking here. There is a Cracker Barrel next door that does have the space to park an RV.
The hotel was generally good: reasonably comfortable, clean and with friendly staff. I downgrade it one star for the fact that we couldn't get the shower to produce any real hot water (if you like tepid showers it was fine), and because the facilities seemed a bit dated. I wouldn't avoid this place in the future, but I also might look to try another place in the same price range.
