Home Exteriors install Siding on my Home back in 2010. I just recently had issues with my siding blowing loosely from the wall that was cause by the wind storm we had recently this year. I contacted Home Exteriors of Fayetteville and they came right out and repaired my siding. I rate them as a 5 because they are true to their word. FIRST OFF READ THE OTHER REVIEWS THIS SEEMS TO BE A REOCCURRING PROBLEM WITH THESE PEOPLE...This company is so disappointing. They came out and did an estimate to repair the siding on my house. When they arrived they insisted on 85$ just for the inspection and I quickly told them I will pay the 85$ tomorrow at their office because I did not have cash. He told me that they would be out at 0900 the next day to repair siding. at 1000 when no one showed up I called they said they will come out later and never showed again right before they closed I called again and they told me that they did not want my business and to find another company. The young man on the phone said they were to busy to follow threw with the job. Thank goodness I never paid the 85$ for the quote. They are unreliable and will MAKE PROMISES THEY CAN NOT KEEP!
I have used home exteriors of Fayetteville on two separate occasions. Both instances were on newly constructed homes where I had windows and shutters installed. My wife and I have been extremely satisfied with the result in both instances. Mr. Porreco was very professional and courteous as was the installation crew. We wouldn't think of using anyone else. I would highly recommend without reservation.
On May 22nd Mr.Porreco came to my house and said that he would do all my windows for an agreed price. All the windows have not been done. He came to my house today, August 1st, demanding his money. When I told him I wouldn't give it to him until all the windows were done he said "I'll see you in small claims court, kiss my ass." And stormed out of my house. I am still shocked and stunned that a "business man" would tell a client "kiss my ass", so disappointed with this company and their lack of professionalism.
I had siding put on my house by home exterior in Fayetteville on Raeford Rd. I called today to see what they can do for me being that a part of the siding is coming off on the middle top of the house. I have a lifetime warranty but I was told I had to pay 85.00 and plus the Labor it cost to repair it. When I purchased the siding I was given a contract for 8,199.00. You would think that the Labor would be included in the price. What's the use of having the warranty? I would recommend if you are disable and or single not having someone to look at minor problems, get another company. Other than this I love my siding.
Added: I just read the owners response, complete lie. I have been in the army seven years and I have never deployed. I am a slick sleeve.... I have vinyl siding and I was seeking repairs of a section my dog ate and yes they do charge for quotes, I got an angry call from them because I refused to pay.. The owners constat lying contest to why he only has a embarrassing 2.2 star review, that's pathetic.
