I did read all the negative reviews but we decided to go into the store and look at the furniture. We were greeted with a smile and we met Kenny our salesman he talk with him about our needs. He showed us different styles of furniture that fit our budget. We picked out beautiful bedroom set by Cindy Crawford and I like it very much. We also purchased a beautiful couch with chaise attached with ottoman. The furniture was delivered on time given by CS and the delivery was set up professionally. We were so impressed we went back a month later and purchased a dining set. Again delivery was great same guys came out and did a great job. I don’t usually give feedbacks no matter how bad it was. However my experience with this store pierced hard through my heart. The fact that they have no respect for service people, makes me wanna regret sacrificing everything I am for this country.
The customer service in the store was decent. My delivery was scheduled between 3-7 today and the dispatcher called and said they wouldn’t be able to deliver my furniture by 7 because they were 5 stops behind and would be able to deliver before 9, which doesn’t work for me and I don’t trust that time frame with them being 5 stops behind. I called customer service and she was very unhelpful. Wouldn’t direct me to anyone above her, couldn’t refund me my money, or reschedule my delivery but gave me an address to write a letter to send a complaint. This is not the first time I’ve had an issue with rooms to go. I will NEVER shop with Rooms To Go ever again and I have spent a lot of money with Rooms To Go in the past.
I almost spent $2000 cash in that store and all I got was a bad experience. If I wasn’t on a tight schedule, I would have left that place but well, it’s my last and to the rest of my family.
1st time good experience, 2nd time not a good experience because if a customer is putting his/her credit in risk by using RTG credit card, why put money up front? Rooms to Go is the leading company, and you all don't need money up front for already expensive and premium furniture. I like your furniture, but you all better start working with the customer and be up-front negotiating, because the manager ruined a sale for the salesperson by coming on my way to the door with the offer I was initially looking for. That sale tax and other charges up front worth approx. $270 and manager last minute offer ruined a sale of over $2000.
I originally had my furniture delivered 7/8. I will not have the TV stand replaced supposedly until 10/3. I say supposedly because I have been given 3 different dates. Inside the store, service was great. I was supposed to receive a phone call about the damaged items I received but never did. When I had to report an incident because my son scraped his wrist on the stand I was asked were there any witnesses and some other silly questions as if we were lying. I told them to come and get it or I was going to put it outside which I was told not to do so and to call the manager. Spoke with Mike who tried to ridicule me and told me I waited a whole week to call anybody which I had to quickly inform him that he was incorrect. I wanted a refund but let them tell it, they don't do refunds. He said he would call me back which he did and left a message letting me know he was still looking into it. Never received another call from them or the company until last week. Received a call from the company FINALLY about the incident report reported in July and phone call dropped and haven't heard from anyone. Guess I will be hearing something soon since I had to report them. I will never ever buy furniture from R2G, and you probably shouldn't either, regardless of the huge sale. Probably the reason for the sales. I will stick with Bullard's Furniture. I love them.
I will keep it short. Sales rep Bryan, his Manager Rick and the old lady at the desk should be re-evaluated in their positions. There are millions of people that will gladly take those jobs with the intent of make customer service their priority. How Bryan got that job with his attitude is unbelievable insane.
Pic of screw sticking out was on my son's footboard. Thank God nobody really hurt themselves on that because that's exactly how it was left. I guess these things weren't urgent enough to fix because I just received the bed 9/13, 2 months later.
Oh I just found out that they issued me a wrong order, I paid for a power reclining sofa, and I was given a love seat. And also my payment is $70 more than what I have on the receipt. Mr. Bryan is a full time criminal working for Rooms to go. And to my surprise his manager was a part of this mess. Stealing from an active military personnel that deploys in 2 weeks and wants to set up home for family is beyond evil. Mr. Bryan, the big fat guy. If you can read this, I’m highly disappointed in you.
