Just stopped in for a drop in for the 5:15pm class, but no one greeted or even acknowledged me. After I walked across the gym to speak with someone that looked in charge, they continued their conversation without any kind of acknowledgment. I should have stuck out since I was wearing jeans, flip flops, & a tshirt. Finally after standing on the opposite side of the entrance looking completely awkward, & the 5:15 class instructor deciding it was time for class, I figure it's too late to even ask about a drop in. Somehow I manage to walk back across the gym & leave without anyone greeting me the entire time. I'm sure this may be an anomaly since I know CrossFit is all about the community. Oh well, wishing them well.
I gave them a 2 star since looked to be an excellent "box" inside (equipment & visually).
I was a little apprehensive of trying Crossfit at my age and weight. I had heard a lot of pros and cons but I finally broke down and stepped into the best decision of my life. CrossFit Ferus is by far one of the best places I have gone over the years to try and better myself. The coaches are fantastic, extremely encouraging and are quick to help you feel like one with the CrossFit Ferus family. Great, safe enviroment.
Great workouts, good atmosphere and personal attention to get you on the right track. Highly recommend this place for both beginners and advanced athletes.
