The environment there always felt safe and inviting and all the other fencers were pleasant and kind.

My daughter found this academy on-line. On the first visit it felt like a family. The coach's are wonderful with kids and adults alike. I recommend this academy to anyone that wants to learn the sport.

Great coaches that really love what they do! I've been a member at AAFA for years now, and I have never once had a bad experience with any one there, members or coaches. I have loved every minute of fencing with them.

Fencing is not for everyone. But everyone should try fencing at least once in their lives. My boys were not team player types in organized sports. However, after picking up a foil (sword) here at AAFA, they seemed to find that one sport that appealed to them. Focus, footwork, parry, reposte. Both boys fenced for a number of years, and have sinced moved on, but I can tell you that you will find no better coaches than Coach John and Coach Gerhard in teaching and fostering the sport of fencing. If you want something different, if you like challenging yourself, come pick up a sword.

I started at All-American when I was 13 and knew basically nothing about fencing other than vague differences between foil, epee, and sabre. They taught me everything I know about fencing (thank you Coach Gerhard and Coach John!) and really spent the time to make sure I learned and improved each lesson. They also taught me about the equipment I was using and the maintenance/fixing of it. When I was there, there were typically at least two classes or open fencing times a week you could go to and there were usually coaches around, who you could ask for help or private lessons.

I loved my time there (I'm sure you will, too) and hope I'll be able to come back some time!

In the last 3 years my daughter has been attending lessons at the All-American Fencing Academy I have see her grow as young woman and athlete. She has not only learned to Fence, but also learned the value of teamwork and camaraderie. Thank you Coach Gerhard and Coach Page!
