I loved It!!! I went to Suburban Extended Stay in Fayetteville NC and loved everything about it. I was by myself and needed a good night's sleep after working 17 hrs. First of all the room was clean and inviting. After a great hot shower to bed I went...this is one of Fayetteville's best kept secrets. Try it for yourself.
Great accommodations for the price. We had previously stayed at a competitor's motel in the area for $12 more per night and far substandard conditions. This was clean, well stocked (they even provide you with dish soap and pots/pans!), and quiet. Our only complaint was an unpleasant smell when we opened the door to our room. But it wasn't bad enough to warrant calling the front desk to change rooms (we got there late and would be leaving the next morning). Other than that, we were very pleased and will certainly stay here again in the future!
Pretty nice spot considering what it is and what you come to think of those people that need these places??! Staff was nice, like very nice, almost made you forget the awkwardness you can feel being that local that needed a room for a night. All in all very quite and seemingly drama free.
Made an online reservation with an external booking site without realizing the office would be closed. The reservation was automatically made for the next day. I was not given a refund after my card was charged.
My husband and I stayed in the Suburban Extended Stay in Fayetteville, NC last night and it was the absolute worst experience I've ever had. The front desk agent was the only pleasant part about our stay. The room smelled like mildew, carpets dirty, hair in the sink when we checked in, pee on the toilet when we checked in and just overall not very clean. We left to go visit our kids and when we came back last night, there was HOOKERS standing at the entrance to the hotel. Yes, I did say hookers. Two of them yelled and tried to solicit us as we were trying to get into the parking lot and we could still hear them yelling as we walked to our room. When we went to get on the elevator, you could hear a guest having extremely loud sex. We tried calling the front desk numerous times with no answer. The bed is old and needs updated in the worst way. I will never stay at this establishment again and I will be sure to let anyone I know to choose a different hotel.
