I'm not sure if every cracker barrel has the greens and beans option, but this one, has the best greens I've ever had from a restaurant chain. The beans were OK, the cornbread muffins were nice. If I could get the cornbread flat fried...then I'd straight up become a spokesperson for the brand.
Poor service from Jennifer P. She was rude and not attententive to our table at all. When we discussed with the manager there was an awkward pause. As if he was unsure of what to say. After walking away he said sorry about that. I always make it clear I am not trying to get free food or a discount (our bill was $20 for three people). I thought management could have been a bit more responsive to my concerns of how we were treated. Great food though.
Food portions were generous and taste was very appealing.
Totally deserves 5 stars.
Busy Thanksgiving day... service was prompt and staff was extremely pleasant.
Ok. It is a Cracker Barrel, so I was not expecting much but it was late and we had no other options within walking distance. They had a daily fish special (lemon trout) for $10.29. It was fantastic...seriously, as good as I have received in snooty restaurants. Sides and soup were very good too. The place was closing up as we were leaving however the staff were not short with us. In fact they were the most kind and professional staff I have come across in my many years on the road. Well done and thank you!!!
It's a restaurant, store, gift shop and museum all rolled into one. The "home style" items on the menu are prepared to perfection and served by a friendly and courteous staff. The entire inside of the building decorated with items from a time long passed such as old photos and general store type things. The store side has something for just about anyone. Cracker Barrel is truly an experience not just a meal.
