Safelite came out today and replaced my windshield. Justin was on time and very polite. Price was awesome as well!
Easy to schedule online, chose 2 days in future based on my schedule (could have done next day). Installer called early on day of install to let me know he had too many appts scheduled and would not be able to get to me during the chosen 8-12 time slot. Installer kept in touch with me and worked around my afternoon schedule, even though it meant skipping me and going 45-60 minutes away from my town (and coming back). He worked in the cold & dark to install windshield. Installer was very polite, professional, and did great job installing. My only negative was not at the fault of the installer, but of the scheduler or computer system making it so that he had too many jobs for the morning.
I never take chances when these incidents happen, because I've seen the results of people who neglect to repair their windshields before the damage gets much worse with the air pressure from highway driving. Windshield chipped on trip back to Canada. Stopped in. Honest people. Technician told me that repair was unnecessary except for cosmetic purposes. I really appreciated hearing that.
The 2 gentlemen that helped us were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They were honest about the repair and possible outcome and offered options if we were not satisfied with work. We had a small chip in windshield and they used resin to fix it. The rep was quick and cleaned our windshield inside and out as well as vacuumed the carpet. Exceptional service...ALL SMILES!!
