I had the ahi tuna salad, was fresh and fast. Most places you get a few pieces of the tuna, here they give you a generous portion. My son had a club sandwich and the Mac cheese, both of which were awesome. Clean place with a nice atmosphere, much better than what you would find in the food court.
Great food, a little pricey. Delicious sandwiches and the portion is good but still a little expensive for what you get. Definitely a trendy place to eat.
Every time I go to Newks my food and service is great. Most recently I visited Newk's (Friday, August 18) I called in my order. The young lady that took my order said it'll be ready in 5mins. I was 7min from the store. I get there and was created by two young ladies. One young lady walked off to help customers and clear tables. The other young lady just stood there wrapping paper around the napkin wrapped utensils. Not once asking me if I needed help so I said, do I pay you or do I have to wait for her to come back. So she asks to take my order of course I ordered online. I have her my name and paid. She offered no receipt.
My husband and I ordered vegetarian pizzas. They were AMAZING. We will definitely be returning.
I love Newk's. The food is delicious, the place is usually clean. I give it 4 stars because of two things: 1. Expensive for what it is...they're not gourmet so I don't understand $5 for Mac & Cheese where you only get about 4 bites of it. 2. When I got a sub, half of the bread is so hard I have to pull most of it off, it's not edible. It's not burnt, but it's like a super hard french bread. Other than that, everything else is great. The salads are huge, very tasty and filling. I love the reusable cups you get when you order drinks.
