DO NOT RENT from Wendy Harris. Our Property Manager was useless as well, Karen. If you are looking for a realtor to help with any issues that come up, stay clear of TEAM HARRIS.
Rented from this agency for two years. Original items listed on move-in inspection were never handled until 3 months prior to terminating lease (2 years). AC did not properly cool, called Team Harris nothing was done. Owner was contacted and sent in family friend who could not find the issue. After Hurricane fence was blown down, and damage to gate. Again nothing from Team Harris - same family friend came to repair the fence on request from owner. I requested several times my account history due to believing an overpayment was made, and after my third request I was finally notified I did over pay.
I've been renting from them a little over a month now. 3 contractors have been to look at issues with the house (rotting doors and posts supporting the roof over the front porch, missing electrical socket covers and other things here and there) but never came back to fix anything. Now my refrigerator/freezer has stopped working and after 4 days of trying to contact Team Harris over the phone and through email a work order was finally put in after having to show up in person. Now I have to wait another 3 days for someone to just look at it. I have lost about $300 in food and have 3 children in the house. I was told I will not be compensated for anything and never even received an apology. My suggestion to you would be do not use their service.
After moving out of the home, agency did not send itemized security deposit until 45 days. When questioned as to why, no response just that the itemized billing was completed. After receiving the bill, we were charged for HVAC Service (remember we had someone come out 4-5 times), a door stopper, carpet damage (seam came apart), and excessive costs to repairs to include the fence that was damaged during the hurricane.

We cannot say enough good things about Wendy and Team Harris! She truly takes the time to find out what your needs and wants are when you are house hunting. And she works so hard to look at all the possible options for you. As first time home buyers we may have looked at dozens of houses because we were so indecisive in the beginning and then eventually narrowed it down to our final few before we made offers. She even drove us an hour away so we could look at a potential house plan. We set our budget in the beginning and we never felt pressured to exceed that at all. She was our advocate and helped us to negotiate and get a great deal. She let us use her moving truck for several days to help us move. She definitely knows the business and uses her knowledge and skill to look for and point out things that are extremely helpful for not only the home buying process but for houses in general. Wendy knows the area very well due to her 20+ years experience and has many connections and trusted resources that are beneficial to her clients. She accommodated for our schedule which was mostly after hours and was available by phone at almost any time of day to answer our tireless list of questions without making us feel like we were bugging her one bit. She made our first time home buying process a much simpler one and was very generous with her efforts. If there is anyone out there looking to buy or sell a home we highly recommend Wendy Harris and Team Harris.
